Item Details. Wood. A group of three West African hand-carved wood figures. Featured in the lot is an Akan Akua’Ba fertility figure in the style of the Ashanti people of south Ghana with a flat, circular head and cross-shaped body decorated with cowrie shells and strings of small beads. African hand crafted figurines of traditional African men and out of hard wood and stained to various colors, these African dolls have become a sort afrter collectable. Please be advised that South Africa at the moment has been placed on a precautionary lockdown due to the Coronavirus that is causing havoc around the world.
